Sam Singer Elected President of ASCE Met Section

The American Society of Civil Engineers Metropolitan (ASCE Met) Section announced its Executive Board and Officers for the 2022-2023 year, appointing Sam Singer as President.

As the nation’s oldest engineering society, ASCE is a pillar in the civil engineering profession. The organization provides technical and professional conferences, continuing education, and advancements in civil engineering for its members. The Met Section is one of ASCE’s largest and most active chapters in the United States with over 5,000 members.

Singer is a Senior Project Manager in Langan’s New York City office. He has over 14 years of geotechnical engineering experience, providing services for public and private projects ranging from small additions to billion-dollar developments. Singer is also a Past President of the ASCE Met Section Younger Member Forum.
