AIA Academy of Architecture for Health Recognizes Memorial Sloan Kettering Monmouth

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) Academy of Architecture for Health (AAH) recognized Memorial Sloan Kettering Monmouth with its Healthcare Design Award for cutting-edge design that helps solve aesthetic, civic, urban, and social problems, while also being functional and sustainable.

Langan provided its full suite of engineering, site design, and land development services for the project, which converted a multi-story office building into a 154,000-SF state-of-the-art cancer care center. The LEED Gold-certified project features improved vehicle and pedestrian circulation patterns, landscaped walkways, lush entry gardens and courtyards, as well as sustainable design elements.

The winning projects were honored at the AIA AAH/ACHA Summer Leadership Summit in Chicago on Saturday, July 28.
