48th & Woodland Playground

Located on nearly five acres in Western Philadelphia, 48th & Woodland Playground includes two ballfields, two sports fields, four basketball courts, and a 10,000 SF splash pad. As lead architect, Langan supported the development of an additional cool-down area for park guests. Our team guided the MEP engineer through design and construction, led community engagement meetings, produced graphics for the Philadelphia Art Commission, and provided clear construction documents to move the project forward efficiently.
