95 Greene Street

The project at 95 Greene Street featured the conversion of the old Colgate ‘G-block’ in downtown Jersey City, New Jersey, into an attractive commercial building with “modern” standards. Langan designed an attractive streetscape in accordance with the Colgate Master Plan Design Guidelines and provided boundary and topographic services. The urban streetscape consisted of irrigated trees in grated planting beds, “historic waterfront” style streetlights, and granite paver patterned sidewalks. Langan also designed an attractive terrace along the facade, consisting of central steps framed by a wide ramp on one side and a public seating area on the other. Planter columns were spaced to match the building’s architecture. Langan site/civil engineers designed utility services to upgrade the building to its current-day requirements.
