Bay Street Corridor Rezoning

OVERVIEW
Langan is providing full CEQR services, including preparation of an Environmental Impact Statement for the proposed Bay Street Corridor Rezoning project. The project is an integral component of city-sponsored comprehensive community planning effort focusing on the revitalization of the North Shore of Staten Island. The Proposed Action involves rezoning an approximately 45-acre area currently zoned for manufacturing and industrial uses to a mixed use district. The proposed rezoning would facilitate the potential for more than 2.5 million SF of new residential use, as well as new ground floor retail amenities and commercial and office space.
