California Coastal Trail Relocation

Langan provided cultural, biological, permitting, landscape, civil, and geotechnical engineering services to relocate a 900-linear-foot section of coastal trail constrained by cliffs and a hotel property. We supported the project through design, agency approvals, and construction, including archaeological and biological resource assessments, habitat protection, tribal coordination, and environmental hazard evaluations. Our landscape design incorporated resilient coastal plantings, natural screening, and rest areas while protecting sensitive habitats.
