Century Center Shopping Center

Langan performed site characterization of soil, soil gas, and groundwater impacted by dry cleaning solvents leaking from a sewer lateral within the Century Center shopping center. Langan designed and constructed an air sparging and soil vapor extraction (AS/SVE) system to address PCE impacts to groundwater at the site. Site characterization and associated environmental expertise supported mediation between the shopping center and the dry cleaner tenant over the cost sharing for subsequent site remediation.
