Cleveland Institute of Music – Student Housing

OVERVIEW
The Cleveland Institute of Music (CIM) is a classical music conservatory located in downtown Cleveland, Ohio. The 103,000-SF student housing was developed on a former parking lot, located at 1609 Hazel Drive. The residence hall is also a partnership with the Case Western Reserve University (CWRU), and students of both CIM and CWRU occupy the building. The five-story hall features 236 fully furnished units, classroom space, and a parking structure. Additionally, students are able to utilize the 22 acoustically-isolated practice rooms located on the main floor of the building. Langan provided surveying, site/civil engineering, landscape architecture, and environmental consulting services.
