Craig Farm Drum

OVERVIEW
The Craig Farm site is a 117-acre Superfund site in Armstrong County, Pennsylvania. Between 1958 and 1963, approximately 8,000 tons of drummed waste material were deposited in two former strip mine pits on the site property and covered with topsoil. Langan developed and implemented a feasibility study that incorporated alternative remedial approaches, published an Explanation of Significant Differences that memorialized remedy modifications, and prepared the Final Design Report for the remedy modification, which consisted of a $1.4M cap and a bioswale.
