Cranbury Brick Yard – Wetland Mitigation

Langan prepared a Wetland Mitigation Plan associated with the permitted filling of 42 acres of freshwater wetlands for an industrial redevelopment project on a 395-acre parcel. The wetland mitigation project resulted in the creation of 23 acres of freshwater wetlands, with 8.5 acres dedicated to vernal pool habitat development. The project included an additional 5.5 acres of wetlands enhancement and 2.5 acres of restoration; and preservation of over 200 acres of forested wetlands and adjacent forested uplands. Langan is preparing post-construction observation reports on a yearly basis for five years.
