Faneuil Gardens

The redevelopment of the Faneuil Gardens public housing complex is transforming the outdated space into a vibrant, connected community. The project will replace all 258 apartments, add 183 new units, and develop retail space, live-work artist spaces, and a community center. Approved through Boston Planning & Development Agency’s Article 80 large project review process, Phase I includes the development of a six-story, 142,000-SF building with a courtyard and surface parking. Langan provided site/civil, geotechnical, environmental, transportation, and survey services for the master plan and Phase 1, helping design a connected, inclusive, and resilient community.
