Greenpoint Landing – Two Blue Slip

This 40-story, 421 unit residential building is part of the 22-acre Greenpoint Landing master plan. The site includes a private pool, 2-story fitness center, coworking space, and an outdoor landscaped terrace. Langan’s site/civil scope included the design of grading, drainage, storm water management, utility infrastructure, and public right of way improvements. Our environmental group assisted with the project’s satisfaction of Hazardous Materials, Noise and Air E-Designation requirements through the NYC Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP). Langan’s geotechnical responsibilities included pile design for support of the building and utilities, surcharge/settlement design, special inspections, and seismic recommendations.
