Heritage Park Mapping

Langan performed aerial sUAV drone photography and detailed topographic mapping for this existing facility, which will become the new training center for Orlando City Soccer Club. The project is located at Heritage Park, which is the original spring training facility for the Houston Astros. Utilizing the ground control points acquired using RTK GPS, Langan completed aerial triangulation to generate interior and exterior photo parameters for the accurate horizontal and vertical placement of the aerial imagery within the project coordinate system. A Digital Terrain Model (DTM) was then photogrammetrically prepared for the entire 67-acre project area. Langan also provided site/civil engineering services, including developing an erosion and sediment control plan and site permitting.
