Kings County Hospital

Langan provided extensive geotechnical engineering and surveying services for this 2,000,000-SF expansion of the Kings County Hospital Complex. Langan provided engineering inspections for foundation preparation including supervision and field testing for removal of old fill and replacement with compacted fill.  Langan also reviewed field and laboratory testing reports for compacted fill and foundation subgrade construction throughout the site. Survey services were also provided and included a boundary survey of the entire site, as-built surveys of completed construction and survey monitoring of exhaust stacks during excavation adjacent to the stack footings.
