Metropark Station Traffic Study

OVERVIEW
The Metropark Traffic study included a detailed analysis of 16 intersections surrounding the Metropark Train Station and existing office developments. The study’s infrastructure improvements were necessary to further develop the area while maintaining an adequate level of service on the roadway system. Langan identified and analyzed the conventional traffic and roadway improvements necessary to support a complex project such as the future Metropark Office Expansion, as well as took the next step to identify less conventional methods of physical and directional improvements to utilize existing infrastructure. For the Metropark study, we identified practical, interim, and phased improvements that can provide vitally needed roadway capacity at minimal cost while a long-term plan can be developed and funded.
