Miami World Tower One

Langan provided geotechnical engineering services for Miami World Tower One, the first phase of a larger development in the Miami Worldcenter district. The 55-story, 559-foot-tall tower includes 560 luxury apartments and an attached 13-level podium with parking for 400 vehicles. Our services included subsurface investigations, foundation design, and construction oversight. We designed 33-inch-diameter, high-capacity augered cast-in-place (ACIP) piles to depths of 118 feet for the tower, and 18-inch-diameter, 50-foot-long ACIP piles for the podium.
