New Jersey City University – West Side Campus

An example of smart growth, The New Jersey City University West Campus Redevelopment project is a transit-oriented, education-based development with mixed uses that aligns with the greater Bayside Redevelopment vision for Jersey City. The 21-acre project will transform a former industrial site to a new grid of streets, academic buildings, residential units and retail, with inviting public edges that will connect to the existing neighborhood. Langan is currently providing a full range of services to implement the project’s infrastructure and is in the process of coordinating with municipal agencies and finalizing the site engineering design. The infrastructure design will involve new utilities and stormwater management. As the project moves forward, Langan will be designing the streetscape finishes including street tree plantings, unit paving, decorative lighting and site amenities.
