PFAS Data Analysis for Potential Litigation

As the science surrounding PFAS continues to develop, regulations are changing and states are adopting new requirements to control the contaminants. Langan helps clients evaluate analytical data by using EarthSoft’s environmental data management system (EQuIS) to store large quantities of field data and federal/state action levels. By combining public data with information compiled internally, Langan’s Data Management and Analytics team and GIS team created a web viewer that analyzes and visualizes PFAS sources and concentrations throughout New York. For this project, the web viewer revealed that the PFAS concentrations at Langan sites were consistent with the surrounding areas, saving our client the potential cost of PFAS remediation.
