Langan conducted a geotechnical investigation for this mixed-use project which consists of a multifamily complex featuring a 300-unit, 20-story apartment building and six-story office building. Notably, Langan’s experience as the geotechnical engineer for
the neighboring Moxy Hotel and 1246 Central renovation (Edge Collective Phase I) provided the client with valuable insight on the subsurface conditions. The report provided detailed recommendations for support of both structures considering site logistical constraints and proposed lot-line construction with historic structures.
