The Eight

Langan provided site/civil engineering for a 25-floor, 540,000-SF Class A+ office tower. Located on nearly two acres, the project also includes retail space, five levels of below-grade parking, and 7,000 SF of open public space. Seeking LEED Gold and Salmon-Safe certifications, the project integrated sustainable elements, including landscaped filters, water quality features, a partial green roof, and a low-impact filter roof drain to address stormwater runoff. The project is the developer's first effort in the city, and Langan's familiarity with city codes and regulations added considerable value to the design team.
