Topgolf

Topgolf in Renton is a three-story, 56,000-SF high-tech driving range and entertainment venue on a 14-acre site. Civil challenges included a complicated land use entitlements process, which required working closely with a land use attorney to negotiate conditional use permits with the city. The resulting code variances and modifications kept the project within the estimated schedule and budget, eliminating the need for costly zoning amendments. The project included an involved public engagement effort which addressed multiple stakeholders, including the nearby Boeing manufacturing plant, Landing retail center, and an active neighborhood group.
