Trinity University – Payden Academic Center

Langan provided geotechnical services for the new Trinity Academic Center at Trinity University. The four-story, 80,000-SF building will house new science and health profession laboratories, classrooms, offices, information technology support, and learning spaces. Langan performed a geotechnical investigation consisting of seven borings and installed one temporary groundwater monitoring well. Due to the presence and variable density of the existing fill, Langan recommended the existing fill soils be removed and recompacted or densified in place before raising grades within the building pad.
