UC Davis Winery & Brewery Complex

The 34,000 SF Teaching and Research Winery and August A. Busch III Brewing and Food Science Laboratory is the first building of its kind to receive LEED Platinum certification. Our team evaluated soil conditions and recommended how to address the challenges of a relatively weak, compressible near surface layer, high floor slab and building foundation loads, and tight differential settlement performance criteria to maintain floor drainage.
