University Hospital, Administrative Building and Parking Deck

University Hospital, in partnership with Rutgers University, is undergoing a redevelopment to expand and modernize its campus. The first phase includes the demolition of facilities and construction of a parking deck and administrative building to support Rutgers University and University Hospital operations. Langan provided site/civil, geotechnical, environmental, and hazardous materials/abatement services for the project. We developed design solutions to address grading and drainage within the constrained site, provided geotechnical recommendations to support new foundations, and managed environmental and hazardous materials investigations to facilitate safe demolition and construction activities. Our integrated approach helped streamline site development efforts, reduce schedule risks posed by environmental conditions, and seamlessly incorporate the new facilities into the University Hospital campus.
