UT Tyler – Science Building
OVERVIEW
The 120,000 SF UT Tyler Science Building will provide state-of-the-art classrooms, study and collaboration space, conference rooms, offices, computer labs, and teaching and research laboratories for the university’s biology, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, geology, and mathematics programs. Associated infrastructure improvements include the installation of telecom and electrical duct banks, manholes, utility vaults, natural gas distribution, potable water supply, sanitary sewer systems, fire lines and hydrants, stormwater management systems, and chilled water supply/return connections. Langan is preparing a stormwater pollution prevention plan; site, traffic, grading, drainage, and storm sewer plans; and utility plans for the extension of water lines in coordination with the Tyler Fire Marshal.
