Veterans Affairs Community Care Center

Located on a 10-acre site, this 45,000-SF, state-of-the-art outpatient facility and community care center was developed through a design-build project associated with West Haven Veterans Affairs Hospital. Langan prepared a boundary survey, a computer-generated “on the ground” topographic survey, a utility markout survey, and a wetland delineation and survey of the project area. We also collaborated with the town and the Office of the State Traffic Administration to conduct a traffic impact study, performed a subsurface exploration, and provided geotechnical design and construction recommendations. Our environmental team prepared a Phase I ESA Update to evaluate recognized environmental conditions related to hazardous substances, hazardous materials, and petroleum products.
