Waterside Power

OVERVIEW
The Waterside Power Project, located in an industrial and residential area of Stamford, CT, involved the redevelopment of a previously commercial site into a temporary peak power generation facility. Three mobile diesel-powered General Electric generators were placed on-site with associated support equipment. The project required site engineering complying with strict guidelines of GE's generator specifications and both state CTDEP and federal EPA regulations. Langan provided site/civil engineering, landscape architecture, geotechnical assessments, utility/team coordination, construction oversight/inspection, and continues as environmental consultant for the project as it progresses through the Connecticut regulatory framework.
