Willingboro Town Center

OVERVIEW
The Willingboro Shopping Center was one of the first large malls constructed in New Jersey in the early 1960’s. By the mid 1990’s the center was totally vacant and abandoned. Since it occupied about 50 acres fronting on a major highway, planning studies indicated that the land had high value if appropriate uses could be found. This led to the design of a multi-use town center containing a library, a community college facility, residential and retail stores as well as a pharmaceutical production facility. The focal point is a Town Green which ties the complex together. Langan prepared site planning studies and completed site designs for the new facilities. This included all services from preliminary surveys to construction documents.
