Langan’s environmental due diligence services are designed to investigate properties and provide value to potential purchasers or sellers by identifying costly environmental conditions and liabilities. Langan provides a third-party environmental compliance audit to bring a fresh perspective to existing operations and environmental management systems. We leverage our regulatory knowledge and enforcement mitigation experience to develop environmental compliance auditing programs that identify regulated activities on a facility-specific basis, determine applicability with federal, state, and local environmental regulatory programs, identify compliance gaps, and propose corrective actions (often engineering-based) to help achieve compliance and prevent violations. We also support permit transfers, closures and initial permits, and property transactions.
