AVE at Blue Bell Extended Stay Residences

OVERVIEW
The AVE at Blue Bell project sought to expand the Korman Communities AVE brand with this newest addition of a 270-unit, amenity rich, high-end extended stay facility. Langan provided site planning, zoning relief, and due diligence services early on in the project to facilitate discussions with township staff and support efforts to rewrite zoning for the former light industrial site to this new use.  Langan's efforts expanded into detailed site design and construction documentation for all of the site and outdoor areas, including the detailed amenity spaces.

Artist Walk – Centerville

OVERVIEW
Artist Walk is a community-focused, mixed-use development in Fremont's Centerville District. It consists of five buildings between three and four stories. It includes almost 29,000 SF of ground floor commercial space, 185 residential apartments (market rate and affordable), a community center, and a public courtyard. Langan's environmental team is addressing contaminated soil and subsurface soil-vapor gas found in some parts of the 6.7-acre site.

PPL Center

OVERVIEW
The PPL Center is a new arena that is part of the redevelopment of a five-acre city block in downtown Allentown. The 8,500-seat arena will host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, an American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers. Langan provided geotechnical services in support of the project.

OVERVIEW

Battery East Vista

OVERVIEW
Langan provided environmental site characterization, soil remediation, and risk assessment services for the improvement project at the historic Battery East Vista, located southeast of the Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza. The Battery East Bay Trail was expanded and a scenic overlook and landscaping was constructed over a historic landfill.

Maude & Mathilda R&D Campus – LinkedIn & Apple

OVERVIEW
Maude & Mathilda Research & Development (R&D) office campus is Class A office space that consists of three mid-rise buildings, an amenities building, and a five-level parking garage. Apple and LinkedIn occupy the 560,000 SF campus. Langan worked with the project team to evaluate options to mitigate potential volatile organic compound (VOC) vapor intrusion conditions for the site development, and to prepare design documents for the selected remedies.

OVERVIEW

OVERVIEW
Langan was retained to oversee and supervise the removal of two unknown underground fuel oil storage tanks during site development. A characterization investigation followed and a total of 1,373.59-tons of petroleum-contaminated soils were excavated from the site and transported off-site for disposal. Langan is also conducting the monthly testing and monitoring of the on-site dewatering system that was installed after the site investigation.

Centerra Apartment Tower

OVERVIEW
Langan performed a geotechnical investigation for this 21-story, 347-unit apartment project in San Jose's downtown core.  The high-rise apartment tower consists of one and two-bedroom units, as well as a pool, gym, outdoor common area, a pet park, and 7,000 SF of retail space.  The apartment units were constructed over four levels of above-ground parking, which will include a large bicycle storage area and an adjoining repair area on the ground floor.

American Airlines Arena

OVERVIEW
A former ship docking facility is the site for the home of the Miami Heat. This 19,000-seat, state-of-the-art arena overlooks Biscayne Bay and downtown Miami. Langan provided subsurface investigations to identify the conditions of the site and based upon this information new foundation recommendations were developed.

Race Street Pier
