Jason J. Hayes, PE, LEED AP
Jason Hayes is a New York City (NYC) Environmental Group Leader with 20 years of environmental engineering experience in the United States and internationally. Hayes’ specialties include remediation completed concurrent with site development (Brownfield development), remedial engineering design involving waterfront development, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) portfolio review. His career has focused on New York State (NYS) Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) and United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Brownfield remediation; NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) and NYC Office of Environmental Remediation (OER); contaminated building cleanup and demolition; soil vapor mitigation system design; Inactive Hazardous Waste Disposal Site Law (NYS Superfund) services; development of groundwater contaminant plume migration models; and remediation of contaminants of concern, including polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB), solvents, mercury, arsenic, petroleum products, coal tar, asbestos, mold and lead.
He is an active member of his community and serves on the board and acts as Treasurer for the NAIOP NYC Chapter.
