Associate Principal

Mark Seel has more than 30 years of experience in geotechnical and geological engineering, and environmental remediation on projects throughout the United States and overseas. His engineering expertise includes design development associated with land development for buildings, pipelines, utilities, transportation structures, power sub-stations, gas compression facilities, and related infrastructure, as well as, assessment and mitigation of geological hazards.

Seel specializes in subsurface investigations and desk top studies, and evaluating soil and rock properties for appropriate excavation methods and foundation support. He also has expertise in identifying and evaluating geologic hazards related to former mining, rock and soil slopes, and karst; design of slope stabilization systems; trenchless pipeline installation design; deep foundation analysis and design; and foundation element proof/verification testing inspection.

Seel has provided design, peer review, expert witness, and mediation support services related to design and construction defects on projects throughout the US.
