Sigrida Reinis Joins ACBA’s Environmental Executive Committee

The Alameda County Bar Association (ACBA) elected Sigrida Reinis, Ph.D., PE, Senior Associate, to the Executive Committee of its Environmental Law Section for the 2024-2025 term. The Section provides members with educational and networking opportunities focused on land use, environmental law, and sustainability issues.

Reinis has over 25 years of experience in environmental engineering and construction management. Her experience includes providing litigation support and expert witness services for construction and multi-party environmental cases, designing gas/vapor mitigation systems, and managing the redevelopment of commercial sites, residential properties, and former military bases. Reinis also provides expertise in decision analysis, probabilistic performance assessment and cost estimating, and project risk management related to environmental and civil infrastructure projects.

ACBA is a professional association that brings together lawyers and other members of the legal profession. The organization works to promote excellence, build community in the legal profession, and facilitate equal access to justice. Founded in 2010 as part of the ACBA, the Environmental Law Section hosts programs covering topics including air, water, litigation, waste management, natural resources, endangered species, toxics, climate change, land use, and the California Environmental Quality Act.
