Ciel Dubai Marina

Set to become the world’s tallest hotel, Ciel Dubai Marina is 364 meters tall (1,200 feet) and features over 1,000 rooms and suites spread across 82 floors. The tower also includes restaurants, health facilities, four exterior swimming pools, and an observation deck. Langan reviewed data from the subsurface investigations and foundation design, completed an independent evaluation of the geotechnical design parameters, and performed detailed 3D Finite Element Modeling of the foundation. We also provided the structural engineer with vertical and horizontal equivalent foundation springs for a detailed soil-foundation-structure interaction analysis and conducted probabilistic and deterministic seismic hazard analyses.
