The Ellinikon

The Ellinikon is an urban regeneration project located on the 6.2 million-square-meter site of a former airport. The waterfront development will encompass a diverse range of residential communities, hotels, shopping centers, entertainment venues, museums, a free-access public beach, health and wellness centers, sports and recreation space, and a business park. The project is split into phases: master plan, phase 1, and phase 2. In phase 1, Langan led the stormwater and utility design, provided input on the site layout and grading, and coordinated with local Greek engineers. Langan was also named the Lender’s Technical Advisor for phase 1. Our responsibilities include evaluating preliminary designs, identifying risks and associated mitigation measures, and reviewing the assumptions, schedule, and cost estimates. Post signing date, we are focused on all aspects of the project, including progress and costs of the works on behalf of the Lenders.
