Fulfillment Center – Colorado Springs

Langan provided multidisciplinary engineering services for this five-story, 4,000,000 SF e-Commerce fulfillment center, located in the western part of a 900-acre innovation park. Langan performed a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment, which concluded that there were no Recognized Environmental Conditions identified. The project’s location on previously vacant land required a significant amount of off-site utility and roadway improvements, including approximately 7,500 linear feet of new roadways, as well as new intersections and roundabouts. Since the site is located within the Airport Planned Development zone, Langan obtained approvals from Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs Municipal Airport, and the Federal Aviation Administration under its “Rapid Response Team” provisions.
