Lincoln Logistics Bayonne
OVERVIEW
Lincoln Logistics Bayonne is being constructed as part of the 153-acre waterfront redevelopment of the former Military Ocean Terminal at Bayonne peninsula, which will add multiple facilities to the area totaling approximately 1.5 million SF. The majority of the site is being raised 4 to 10 feet in elevation so the new facilities will be located above preliminary FEMA map flood elevations. Langan evaluated the site; coordinated with regulatory agencies; prepared a composite survey through traditional and aerial surveys; and assessed the wharf and bulkhead conditions and made recommendations for repairs and upgrades. We also worked on the site layout, grading/draining design, and ground improvement program to address compliance with wetland and floodplain impacts, maintain stability of the bulkhead, and overcome challenging subsurface conditions.
