Kretchmer Homes

Langan assisted the Newark Housing Authority in the demolition and redevelopment of its Kretchmer Homes Housing Project. Langan's responsibilities included assessing alternative methods of demolition and cost benefits of each, developing technical specifications and contract drawings for demolition, preparing cost estimates, reviewing contractor bids and providing inspection throughout the demolition of the five 8-story buildings. Langan also provided site/civil and geotechnical engineering and surveying services for the townhouse redevelopment on this project site.
