LogistiCenter @ Logan
Langan navigated a complex regulatory and permitting process to complete the project a month ahead of schedule.
Langan engineered the LogistiCenter @ Logan site and navigated a complex regulatory process to entitle the project expeditiously and complete before schedule. Even through a maze of regulations and associated permits, Langan was able to use its multidisciplinary services to efficiently address issues as they arose and secure the required approvals without creating any delays to the design and construction process.
Langan provided unique engineering solutions to satisfy reviewing agency, client, and end-user requirements while preserving and enhancing adjacent natural resource areas. With the installation of the 12-inch water main, the water service loop for Swedesboro was completed while avoiding impacts to wetland and habitat areas. The impacts were avoided by using horizontal directional drilling beneath the natural resource areas and fast-track permitting and coordination with Logan Township, Gloucester County, NJDEP, USACE, and NJAW.
LogistiCenter @ Logan is a marquee industrial development, home to a 1-million-SF e-commerce fulfillment center on a 111-acre parcel within a 1,100-acre master-planned Class A business park just minutes from exit 10 of I-295 and exit 2 of the New Jersey Turnpike. As the project’s civil, traffic, environmental, and geotechnical engineer, Langan was a key member of the design and construction of the design team.
