Maplewood Library

Maplewood Library underwent an expansion to nearly double the size of the facility. The expansion includes a lower-level creative space, two public assembly areas, additional library space for community use, a dedicated children's program room, meeting rooms, lounge seating, group worktables, and computer stations. Langan performed a geotechnical investigation to provide foundation and waterproofing recommendations, conducted natural resources permitting, and designed the site circulation, stormwater management, and utilities. Maplewood Library is the first in New Jersey to achieve LEED Gold certification.
