New Jersey Transit – Hoboken Rail Yard

Langan prepared a Remedial Investigation Work Plan (RIWP), in accordance with the requirements of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), between New Jersey Transit Corporation/Consolidated Rail Corporation Rail Corporation and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP). The purpose of the RIWP is to identify environmental conditions and ensure adherence with regard to regulatory compliance issues. After Langan reviewed previous reports and conducted site inspections, our team worked with NJ Transit and the NJDEP to mutually determine the strategy for the investigation of the site, based on the intended future usage of the rail yard and acceptable remediation technologies for active rail yards.
