Waze Global Event Partnerships

Part of Langan’s approach to providing traffic event management services includes providing lot specific directions for venues. Typically, most venues as well as mobile direction platforms provide directions directly to the venue facility without accounting for where vehicles will actually be parking. This is a critical error when it comes to minimizing transportation impacts during events. The Global Event Partner program from WAZE allows venues to identify / name specific parking lots associated with the venue, program time based road closures and one-way patterns, in addition to the normal benefit of using WAZE, which provides up-to-the-minute traffic routing to get patrons to their event and avoid the unnecessary delays. Langan has been working with clients across the country at various venues (stadiums, arenas, ballparks, etc.) to guide them through the initial setup process and help them become a fully functional WAZE Global Event Partners.
