Four Langan Projects Recognized by ASCE Awards Programs

Two ASCE awards programs recently recognized a total of four Langan projects.

During the 2022 ASCE San Francisco Section Awards in September, the organization named Alameda Point Waterfront Park the Outstanding Community Improvement Project and Kilroy Oyster Point the Outstanding Construction Project. Langan provided geotechnical and environmental services for Alameda Point Waterfront Park, which is the first phase of the redevelopment of a former 1,560-acre Naval Air Base. For Oyster Point, Langan conducted geotechnical, environmental, and site/civil services in support of the transformation of 81 acres from a bay-front area into a mixed-use biotech development.

Additionally, ASCE National awarded Moynihan Train Hall and One Vanderbilt with 2022 Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement (OCEA) Honor Awards. This award honors projects that illustrate superior civil engineering skills and represent a significant contribution to civil engineering progress and society.
