Langan Expands its Team of Environmental Experts to Handle Regulatory Challenges Below and Above Ground
On a sweltering day last summer, Danielle Sandella trudged through an overgrown parcel of land in New England. Though abandoned at that time, the site is on track to become a state-of-the-art, carbon-negative municipal solid waste processing facility—the first of its kind in the United States. Sandella, an environmental compliance expert with nearly two decades of expertise, assessed the preliminary design and got to work on the complex environmental permits related to air, waste, and water required to turn this cutting-edge, sustainable idea into a reality. As the permitting expert and liaison between the design team, engineers, and regulators, Sandella is essential to bringing new life to this once-deserted parcel.
