Newark Liberty International Airport – ConRAC

The Consolidated Rent-A-Car (ConRAC) at Newark Liberty International Airport was developed as part of the Terminal One redevelopment program, now known as Terminal A. The 700,000-SF facility includes six levels of combined public parking and rental car operations, as well as a pedestrian connection to the adjacent AirTrain station. Langan provided geotechnical and environmental services to assist in the project feasibility evaluation. Our geotechnical services included developing a subsurface investigation program and preparing a geotechnical report for the facility, including foundation design recommendations and seismic design parameters. Our environmental team developed an environmental sampling and testing program to support project estimates related to handling and disposal of soil and groundwater during construction.
