Saint Ann’s School

OVERVIEW
A former Citibank located in Brooklyn Heights was redeveloped into the eighth building for Saint Ann’s School. This adaptive reuse project transformed the historic building into a hub for all grade levels with dedicated kindergarten space on the upper floors. The updated facility features a central lobby, classrooms, art rooms, performance spaces, and assembly areas, with a design focused on maximizing natural light and accessibility. We performed geotechnical investigations, designed the support of excavation and underpinning (approved by NYCT and DOB), and conducted special inspections. Our team also addressed infrastructure challenges, developed design plans, conducted a waste characterization study, oversaw soil import/export, performed 3D laser scanning, and delivered a registered point cloud for the 21,750-SF structure.
